Unless JoomlaWorks adds new features to K2, there is no plans to make any significant changes to K2 Split Content. It was produced to satisfy a need, and has done so for quite a few others, but there are no plans to expand it and turn it into a "super module" with a huge feature set.
We will, of course, work to resolve any bugs, but reserve the right to determine that something you see as a "bug" is in fact a new feature, and decline to add it.
If you have a feature you'd like to see added, feel free to add a thread in the forum. However, don't be disappointed if we indicate that there is no likelihood that we will add it into the product.
