We encourage everyone to put in place a good data backup policy. This policy should be implemented and tested.

We advocate that a basic data backup policy should be based around the 3-2-1 principle: -

Have 3 Backups
Store them on 2 different devices
Make sure 1 is off-site

Backup to our cloud storage space. Used exclusively for backups and not day-to-day file storage, this offers quick and secure off-site backup solutions.
Remote Server

Remote Server

Backup to our in-house backup storage array. We have a dedicated backup NAS for client backup storage. A great option for backing up Microsoft 365 and local servers.
Snapshot

Snapshot

A good precaution if you are using our recommended Synology NAS. Snapshots cna be taken a prescribed intervals and allow a quick file restoration if disaster strikes.
Local

Local

Using recommended backup software, servers can be backed up to external hard drives. These drives are rotated and taken off site on a regular basis.
